This Privacy Policy explains how Crypto Porto handles information when you use the Crypto Porto mobile application and related ScopeTools services.

Crypto Porto is designed as a local-only cryptocurrency portfolio tracker. We have intentionally removed account creation, login, subscriptions, premium features and cloud sync from the current public version of the app.

1. Summary

Crypto Porto does not require an account.

The current version of Crypto Porto does not include:

  • sign-up
  • sign-in
  • login
  • guest accounts
  • cloud sync
  • subscriptions
  • in-app purchases
  • premium features
  • paywalls
  • purchase restoration

Crypto Porto stores portfolio data locally on your device.

We do not collect your name, email address, password, user ID or account information through the app.

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

Crypto Porto allows users to manually enter and manage portfolio information.

This may include:

  • portfolio names
  • crypto holdings
  • buy and sell transactions
  • transaction dates and prices
  • custom cryptocurrencies
  • manual prices
  • imported JSON or CSV data
  • app preferences and settings

This information is stored locally on your device using local app storage.

Crypto Porto does not send this portfolio or transaction data to ScopeTools servers.

3. No Account Data

Crypto Porto does not require users to create an account.

Because there is no account system in the current version of the app, Crypto Porto does not collect:

  • names
  • email addresses
  • passwords
  • account identifiers
  • user IDs
  • login credentials
  • profile information

4. Data Export and Import

Crypto Porto allows users to export and import data using JSON and CSV files.

Exported files are created by the user and may contain portfolio and transaction information entered into the app.

Users are responsible for storing, sharing, protecting and deleting exported files.

If a user imports a JSON or CSV file, the data from that file is processed locally inside the app.

5. Deleting Local Data

Crypto Porto includes an option to delete all local app data.

If you delete local data, delete the app, reset your device or clear app storage, your locally stored portfolio data may be permanently lost unless you exported a backup first.

Because Crypto Porto is local-only, ScopeTools cannot recover deleted local portfolio data.

6. Market Data and Third-Party Services

Crypto Porto may request public cryptocurrency market data, such as prices, from third-party data providers such as CoinGecko or similar services.

These requests are used to display market prices and portfolio values where available.

Crypto Porto does not intentionally send your manually entered portfolio or transaction history to ScopeTools servers for account storage or cloud sync.

When your device connects to third-party market data providers, those providers may process standard technical information such as IP address, device/network information or request metadata according to their own privacy policies.

We do not control the privacy practices of third-party market data providers.

7. Support Requests

If you contact us by email, we may process your email address, name if provided, and the content of your message.

We use this information only to respond to your request, provide support and maintain communication related to your inquiry.

Support communication is not used to create an app account.

8. Analytics and Tracking

The current version of Crypto Porto is designed not to collect personal analytics data through an account system.

Crypto Porto does not use tracking for advertising purposes.

Crypto Porto does not sell personal data.

Crypto Porto does not share personal data with advertisers.

If future versions introduce analytics, accounts, cloud sync or other data features, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

9. Children’s Privacy

Crypto Porto is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children.

Because the current version does not require an account and stores portfolio data locally, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

10. Security

Crypto Porto stores portfolio data locally on the user’s device.

Users are responsible for keeping their device secure and for protecting exported JSON or CSV files.

We recommend using device-level security features such as a passcode, Face ID, Touch ID or other available protections. No portfolio data is transmitted to ScopeTools cloud servers because the current version operates locally on-device.

11. International Users

Crypto Porto may be used by users in different countries.

Because the current version is local-only and does not include account-based cloud storage, portfolio data remains on the user’s device unless the user exports or shares it.

Third-party market data providers may process technical request data according to their own infrastructure and privacy policies.

12. Future Features

In future versions, Crypto Porto may introduce optional accounts, cloud sync, additional backup options or other features.

If this happens, we will update this Privacy Policy before or when those features are released.

The current public version remains local-only and does not require an account.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When we update it, we will change the “Last updated” date on this page.

Continued use of Crypto Porto after changes means that you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
