This Privacy Policy explains how Elegant Cook handles information when you use the Elegant Cook mobile application and related ScopeTools services.

Elegant Cook is designed as a simple recipe, week menu, and shopping list app. The app does not require account creation or login. Most app data is stored locally on your device.

1. Summary

Elegant Cook does not require an account.

The current version of Elegant Cook does not include:

• sign-up
• sign-in
• login
• guest accounts
• cloud sync
• user profiles
• account-based recipe storage

Elegant Cook stores your recipes, week menus, shopping list data, app settings, and related cooking information locally on your device.

Elegant Cook includes one optional non-consumable in-app purchase for Lifetime Access. Purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store payment system. ScopeTools does not receive or store your payment card details.

We do not sell personal data.

We do not use tracking for advertising purposes.

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

Elegant Cook allows users to create, save, edit, and manage cooking-related information.

This may include:

• recipe names
• recipe categories
• ingredients
• preparation steps
• cooking time
• difficulty level
• ratings
• servings
• week menu items
• shopping list items
• completed shopping list checks
• store card information added by the user
• app preferences and settings

This information is stored locally on your device using local app storage.

Elegant Cook does not send your recipes, week menus, shopping lists, or store card data to ScopeTools servers for account storage or cloud sync.

3. No Account Data

Elegant Cook does not require users to create an account.

Because there is no account system in the current version of the app, Elegant Cook does not collect:

• names
• email addresses
• passwords
• account identifiers
• user IDs
• login credentials
• profile information

4. In-App Purchases

Elegant Cook may offer a one-time non-consumable in-app purchase called Elegant Cook Lifetime Access.

In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. ScopeTools does not receive or store your payment card number, billing address, or other payment method details.

To unlock and restore Lifetime Access, the app may use purchase-related information provided by Apple and/or a purchase management service such as RevenueCat.

This may include:

• purchase status
• product identifier
• entitlement status
• anonymous app user identifier
• transaction or receipt validation data

This information is used only to unlock paid features, verify purchases, and restore access when needed.

Apple and RevenueCat process purchase-related data according to their own privacy policies and terms.

5. Store Cards and Shopping List Data

Elegant Cook may allow users to add store card information for easier shopping organization.

Any store card information entered by the user is stored locally on the device.

Users are responsible for the accuracy, security, and deletion of any store card information they add to the app.

Elegant Cook does not send store card information to ScopeTools servers.

6. Deleting Local Data

If you delete the app, reset your device, or clear app storage, your locally stored Elegant Cook data may be permanently lost.

This may include:

• saved recipes
• week menus
• shopping lists
• checked items
• app preferences
• store card data

Because the current version of Elegant Cook stores app data locally and does not include account-based cloud sync, ScopeTools cannot recover deleted local app data.

7. Support Requests

If you contact us by email, we may process your email address, name if provided, and the content of your message.

We use this information only to respond to your request, provide support, and maintain communication related to your inquiry.

Support communication is not used to create an app account.

8. Analytics and Tracking

Elegant Cook does not use tracking for advertising purposes.

Elegant Cook does not sell personal data.

Elegant Cook does not share personal data with advertisers.

The current version of Elegant Cook is designed without account-based personal analytics.

If future versions introduce analytics, accounts, cloud sync, or other data features, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

9. Children’s Privacy

Elegant Cook is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children.

Because the current version does not require an account and stores app data locally, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

10. Security

Elegant Cook stores app data locally on the user’s device.

Users are responsible for keeping their device secure and for protecting any information they choose to enter into the app.

We recommend using device-level security features such as a passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, or other available protections.

No recipes, week menus, shopping lists, or store card information are transmitted to ScopeTools cloud servers in the current version of the app.

11. International Users

Elegant Cook may be used by users in different countries.

Because the current version is local-first and does not include account-based cloud storage, app data remains on the user’s device unless the user manually shares or exports information outside the app.

Purchase-related data may be processed by Apple and/or RevenueCat according to their own infrastructure and privacy policies.

12. Future Features

In future versions, Elegant Cook may introduce optional accounts, cloud sync, backup options, sharing features, analytics, or other functionality.

If this happens, we will update this Privacy Policy before or when those features are released.

The current public version does not require an account.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When we update it, we will change the “Last updated” date on this page.

Continued use of Elegant Cook after changes means that you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
